A great way to end the week. The tallow and lanolin WS shave stick is streets ahead of the unworkable (for me) blue bowl.
Happy Shaving one and all.

Last two;
Rocca V3. Polsilver SI.
‘Chopper V3’ soap.
YaQi Space.

Using the DIY soap by @Sid James and loving every second. It’s perrorming more solidly now it’s a week or so old and I’m sure it’ll improve a little further. Plenty of slickness and a decent heft of scent from some Baccarat Rouge 540 duplicate oil. I don’t think I’d need anything else as this is ticking all the boxes for me right now. Good work big S.

Friday am:

Edwin Jagger DE89 head & Stork EX3 Titanium; Astra Superior Platinum
Edwin Jagger 287 faux ivory 25mm XL Synthetic Fiber V2.0
Goodfellas' Smile Shibusa (bowl + face lather combo today)
Razorock What The Puck 'Blue'
Nivea Aloe Vera moisturiser

Two days growth gone in three passes. Very good job from the brush. Soap performs nicely, with way above average post-shave feeling (check was done before applying the moisturiser).

To finish the SE Rotation I had to be on the safe side and use a fresh blade. I loaded it into what is proving to be my favourite British ER Razor, which is from a Bathroom Set. The Razor seems to have seen little use,and even with a fresh blade Shaves very smoothly yet efficiently,so pleasurable and ending up with a face stroking finish.
Whilst I like Heavy Razors, I really like this lightweight which responds to a feather light touch to eradicate any whiskers.
Liking this soap a bit more, the scent is quite subtle but today I noted it more and hit the spot with a Great Lather. Today was so good I might carry on with the SE Shaves for a couple more days.

Preshave: Hot water rinse + bloom water
Razor: Gillette 7 O'Clock OC
Blade: Lord Platinum (2)
Brush: Omega 10018 Boar
Shaving Soap: Wickham 1912 Magnum
Aftershave Balm: Baylis & Harding Black Pepper & Ginseng
Aftershave: Old Spice Original

A very satisfying shave. Near BBS finish with no cuts, nicks or weepers, I'd call that a result.

Enjoy your shaves, gents.

Regards,
Chris
