No idea how old the aftershave is. Judging by the box it was in maybe from the 80es at the latest? It turned up in the back of a drawer at my father's, and he doesn't remember how long he's had it or where it's from. In all likelihood it was a gift, as I've never seen him own any kind of wetshaving accessory (he's always been a faithful adherer to Braun electric shavers, without pre or post anything). Some ingredients have separated and it's rather murky, but still usable.

I already own the Timeless 0.68 OC which isn't included in the pass around box but find it slightly harsh for daily shaving so I welcome the opportunity to try the alternative base plates kindly supplied to the group by Matt from Timeless razors.

Although extremely efficient the 0.95 SB proved just a tad too much for my stubble type.

I'm definitely more suited to the milder plates so tomorrow I'll try the scalloped 0.68 base plate.

Another light Razor Shave this time with the General , but as yesterday provided a bit more oomph by using a S/S Handle. Very pleased with the Shave which no doubt was helped by the excellent lather, but also by the use of the Feather Pro.This blade seems most effective in this Razor, and I had np problems getting a fault free close all round Shave.
