I have a very mixed up and down with slippers. As down stairs is a hard floor I feel the need but never seem to find “the pair”. The living room being upstairs and carpeted I don’t feel the need. Due to my arthritis in my knee hard soles indoors particularly going up make me nervous of falling. Odd I know, but there you go. Also I’m not keen on the hard bottoms on many.
So I decided it try some leather soles. Did a search and found Moroccan slippers, then on Etsy I found these.
Cheap and cheerful at £8, full leather, not the worlds best quality but at that price if I don’t get on with them then nothing much lost.
So far surprisingly, you’d have thought leather against carpet being worse for grip, they feel much better. If I do get on better it will be time to source something better.
