Silent shave

Yesterday I decided to shave in complete silence. No running water, no background noise from the tv in the next room. I was able to fully concentrate on the audible feedback from the shave and the results were fantastic. This is something I’m going to try more often as I really felt in added to the overall outcome for me. Hearing the nuances of the blade helped me keep my angles intact I believe.

Thats what I do. Normally when I shave, its after work at 4am, when the house is quiet and my wife is asleep in the other room. No music, no TV, just me and the razor with no noise but the sound of the brush scrubbing and the blade slicing the stubble off my face. Its a very nice moment of zen.
