SE troubles

I found the Schick Proline to be my best. I’ve also been informed that lightly scoring a new blade on a cork or polystyrene can get rid of fine burs which makes the blade smoother

Thanks for all the advice, used the general again today. After watching a few you tubes videos and your advice I changed my grip holding the razor at the bottom of the handle. I used no pressure with the lightest of grips. It took a lot longer with only one weeper. It produced a great shave.

I see from your recent SOTD you are using a Feather Super Pro, which can be a bit fierce in my experience. You might be better off with the standard Pro or as others have advised a Schick Proline. Hope you resolve your problems.
