Good shave, but I pretty much decided I hate boar brushes. I need to drill this out and chuck an SHD knot into it.

That's too bad, I love a good boar knot. Have you allowed a proper break-in period? Some can take a bit to break-in but once they do the face feel is exceptional...but as with anything in this hobby, they may knot be your cup of tea.

Yes - they can take longer than you think to break-in and they have to dry out fully between uses for the ends to split.
