Greetings,

A eclectic shave set up to start the weekend...This week will be a indian made razor & blade duo week.

It's been a while since i last used my Parker 99R .The Parker 99R along with the 22R where the first parker razors that i purchased not long after i'd ventured into the wonderful world of traditional wet shaving which gave me the 'Shaving Bug' purely because they looked excellent and had great reviews, after that i developed a fondness for them...Four years on, i now have a collection of 10 Parker razors in my shaving den, four of which were past on to me by workmates who fell out of love with them. 'All the better for me'.🙂

When i bought my parker 55sl semi-slant, in 2019 the first blade that i matched it up with was the indian gillette 7'0 clock Super Platinum which i've only used a few times since, i personally find them a smooth sharp and very efficient and the added bonus, for me is they are well suited to my mature 'rhino skin type' and haven't had any intermittent quality problems with them either, each blade i've used so far have been excellent. 'As always, opinions & reviews are very subjective'.YMMV.

A enjoyable 3 pass +pick ups near bbs shave with no errors to report.

Finishing to the shave off with a generous dollop of Aloe Vera Gel.

My face is feeling super smooth and smelling divine.😉

Stay safe, and enjoy the start of the weekend ladies & gentlemen.😎

Another wake up in the middle of the night with a shave in the middle of the night!

I was curious to evaluate the loadability of the Oumo with a bowl of a smaller diameter, compared to the knot's one.

Not disappointing: a layer of water softened the soap, allowing a quick load.
I find the Rotbart even more efficient than 39C so my skin is now as smooth as a mirror.
Soap and aftershave have given my skin a tonicity of all respect.

And I can't sit here and chat because this is going to be a busy morning!

Sapone: Scheermonnik, Delftse Donderslag

Lametta: Gillette, Super Silver (NOS)
AS 1: MilMil, Figaro Gel
AS 2: BeMan, Balsamo Polivalente

Shaveamac Silvertip 2-Band Black
Celestino...
I have a question and you can clarify my doubts.

As far as I knew until a couple of months ago is that 'Manchuria' is the animal, a badger living in Manchuria and its fur is more dense and soft due to colder climate.

But the kind of bristles taken from the animal (Black, Pure, Finest, Silvertip, etc.) depends on the part of the fut where is is taken from.

I realized that many refer to 'Manchurian' as to finest, by default.
Silvertip is, typically, a three band bristle while fines is a two band one.

You wrote 2-band Silvertip: can you explain me what is that?

Thank you! :)
