I don't get to use this razor much but with just over 13hrs stubble today seemed like a good time.
Not a bad shave at all. The Schafmilch left my skin feeling great and the Floid capped it off nicely.
    Have a great weekend everyone.

The Route 66 smells so nice and Orange is becoming my favorite scent profile in soaps it has a freshness and zing and I prefer it to the deep dark Oakmoss or Oud based smells now. The Maseto 30mm is one beast of a knot of the three I own it is stuffed more and shaped better than the others with whiter tips. Great shave, smooth as can be.

    Today's shave:

    - Geo.F. Trumper Sandalwood
    - Liojuny Finest Badger
    - Timor OC with NoName handle and ASP blade
    - Pure & Basic Classic aftershave

This older Liojuny 24mm Finest feels noticeably different from the brushes the same company now sells under its new name, Maseto. The Liojuny is less dense, has less backbone, is not as soft and loses the occasional hair. In other words, it behaves much like one used to expect a £30 brush from China to behave not long ago. (Maybe I should order another Maseto, just to make sure I have enough...?)

Finally tried out the Nuavia Nera. It gave a distinctly different second impression, first only sniffed from the sample. Unwrapping today I got a dirty-floral (green) aquatic. Lathered up, the citrus aspects took over, while remaining notes were still very much present. For reference, this is Polo Sport meets L’Erbolario Felci meets AdP Essenza. All fragrances share plenty of notes with Nera.

I’m surprised by the efficiency of this mild razor. I might have allowed myself more buffing, given how gentle it is, but still. Verging on BBS even on trouble spots.

Wolf Whiskers Tyrion / Brad Sears Manchurian 3b, Gillette Tech / Nacet, Nuavia Nera, L’Erbolario Felci balm and EdP.

    Morning shave.

    Olive Oil Soap
    Valobra (unscented)
    Shavemac 2 Band Silvertip
    Tatara Masamune OC (pass around)
    Gillette Nacet (2)
    Speick Aftershave

A lovely shave to prepare me for the ordeal ahead. Apparently, we are shopping for our spring and summer ‘wardrobes’. Where did it all go wrong? Have a great weekend gents.
