Soap - Ach Brito Mogno
Brush - Simpson Trafalgar T3
Razor - Rockwell 6C R4
Blade - Gillette Wilkinson Sword (1)
Post - Pinaud Clubman Classic Vanilla ASL

I finally found the will power and laid the Bronze Timeless away, and used the 6C with the new to me Gillette Wilkinson Sword blade.
First impression of these blades is good - plenty sharp, but not as smooth on first use as Gillette Silver Blue or Platinum.
Being a stainless blade, they're quite rigid, which makes for more audible feedback - which isn't a bad thing.
Good blades for not a lot of money - £7.99 for 110 from EBay

Two day growth gone like the wind ...
The Castle Forbes 1445 (which I now see is not in the picture) is definitely in my top ten of favorite scents.

Again a damn fine shave.

What was I ready for our morning coffee with ....

Have a nice day everyone.

Finally the fog is back, companion of a very suggestive frost.

While I was shaving I reflected on the fashions that, today, rule. In all fields.
Who wears, today, a garment that does not have a logo, even if unknown?
Those who build cars tend to hide door handles, but make sure that the name of the factory is as visible as possible.
And here you can see the extremes of a promotional campaign, more or less surreptitious.
But trends are not limited to promoting a brand, but also how one wears a suit, what one drinks: no sector is immune to it.

Even in a niche area, like wet shaving has its own: a new soap, a new razor or a new type of brush.
And even here, we have our trends: have you noticed that it's becoming fashionable to list the components of the set up on the photo instead of on the text?
And I don't know why: is it easier to do it? Faster?

I don't know: technologically I am less prepared than a goat. But I am very curious!

This morning, after briefly observing the soap tray, I preferred a soap that no longer has the scent of almond, but only a scent of soap of the old days: very pleasant that makes me feel a sense of cleanliness that goes well with facial cleansing.

And, as usual, it was a long time and repetitive ritual, but definitely captivating...
