Push Notifications

What are push notifications? And, why do I need them?

Just when I think I'm doing OK, something new comes along...

If you sign up to push notifications, I believe any threads that your are watching will "push" a notification to your phone so that you know there has been an update. Other wise you'll just get an email which isn't as instant.

Thanks, I don't have cell phone capability... I told you I was a dinosaur... and I already get an email on replies to threads I post in.

So, i guess it doesn't apply to me?
