Post-shave suggestions for C & S

Any suggestions for what splash or balm might pair nicely with the lavender of Oxford and Cambridge or the rose of no.88? I particularly like menthol / something cooling

C&S does have their own aftershave (and EDC), in the same scents of O&C and No.88. Not cheap at all, but good stuff. I have the the O&C aftershave, really love the scent and the toning of it. May want the EDC for a longer lasting scent though...

Cheers for that - I've got both edc's but wasn't sure how good the aftershave is - the few reviews I've seen haven't been great, so it's good to get an alternate view

If you already have the EDC's, I'd recommend skipping the aftershaves. The best 'performing' aftershave splashes I own, for skin care quality, are Barrister's Reserve. The Classic scent could almost be paired with anything, as the scent is subtle and fades quickly. The Cool (think Floid Blue) does pair well with the O&C, and has the slight menthol hit which you mentioned as well. Spice (think Old Spice) can pair well with the No.88, but I'd rather use the Classic with that pairing followed by the C&S EDC.

D.R. Harris Pink goes well with No. 88.

I would recommend the "Art of Shaving" after shave lotion (lighter) or balm (heavier), Lavender scent, for the O&C soap.

The DRH Pink is a solid recommendation to follow a shave with C&S #88, you can alternatively try a Witch Hazel with Rose scent as well.

A Penhaligons after shave or after shave balm would match a shave with C&S #88 as Pens make excellent quality stuff. However in the particular scent profile (C&W #88) it is not easy to use EF or Endymion or Opus 1870, so we are driven to a situation where Hammam Bouquet may apply/match better. Same applies to any other Pens scent containing rose.
