Paypal f & f question

Hi all.
I am selling a non shaving related item on another forum which is not inconsiderable in value.
A potential buyer 9some distance from me) is happy to pay using f & f but..........
I know using f & f generally affords no protection but I can only find guidance with regard to seller protection.
Is the buyer also excluded from and paypal protection if using f & f to pay? ie Once funds transferred I can move to my bank and they have no comeback whatsoever? I am obviously not looking to do wrong here but want to cover myself completely against me being the 'wronged'.
I cannot find this in the paypal website. Clearly says seller not covered but the buyer?
Cheers all...

As I know, the buyer is also not covered. Once the money is transferred he has no protection. That's why Paypal states to use F&F on your risk and only between reliable parties. F&F is not available in my country, that's why I'm using G&S+taxes, I know that I'm paying more, but at least I have some back

On the flip side, what does a seller do when he has sold G&S and the (protected) buyer claims never to have received anything? Paypal almost always take the side of the buyer.

With regards to protection for F&F, I doubt paypal will go into any detail explaining this as a.) it‘s against their rules and b.) there is no protection for either parties. Something like posting money in an envelope.

There is no protection at all with F&F, it used to be referred to as PayPal Gift and that's exactly how they view it. It is very much akin to sending cash in an envelope.

Thanks guys. So considered opinion is that if the buyer is happy to use it then all is ok for me.
I suppose if he is that keen then bank transfer should not be an issue.
