Old Penknives

Having seen a lot of lovely penknives floating around on here, I wondered if I could pick your brains a little?

I have a small box of old penknives that I throw into when I come across them.
I was going to start disposing of some and tidying some up.
Just to play really.

I think that they are mostly tat, and in fairly bad condition, but sometimes I am surprised.
So, before I start messing about with them, (and ruining them potentially) does anyone know much about these?
Anything interesting in here?
There are a couple of wood ones, a couple of bakelite....

Just thought, a bit of a description of each might be of use:
They are all fairly scratched and quite rusty as you can see.
But for now, this is what I can see:

Top left to bottom right
- Seems like Bakelite – Made in Sheffield England
- Pearl like handle – Can’t quite work it out but states magnetic forged steel made in germany on the other side.
- I think a wooden handle – Clark Newcastle
- Metal one with letters scratched in. The main blade seems to be missing.
- Metal, dented and a bit concretey – is it Richards? Or Richlands?
- Bakelite (?) – Made in Sheffield England
- Metal – again, something like Richards / richlands (?)
- Victorinox – Victoria Officer Suisse also states PAT on it.
- Ooks like tortoiseshell effect – H Hobson
- Ivory effect – Solingen
- Heavy wooden one Says something like J. ????ER Sheffield
- One with a short blade I think just states made in Sheffield.
- Wooden handle states ‘foreign.
- Cream one maybe silver bits? BUCK TOT????
- Plastic handle no words
- Can’t work out the words on this just now.
- Plastic ‘stainless’ and stainless Sheffield England
- Possible Bakelite, can’t get second blade out right now.
- Needham brothers with hopes windows engraved on it.
- Fruit knife Made in Germany Ypres Les Halles

There are people here who can help but you may get a bigger audience over at british blades. A uk based knife forum.

Well, I got stuck on this a while ago :)
I am trying again.
I think British Blades has ceased.
I also tried EdgeMatters.uk which I tried registering and my email is correct but I never receive the email.
So I can't complete registration. I tried back then and tried again a couple of weeks ago. Same issue. Can't work out how to contact them.

Does anyone else know of a forum that people might know about penknives?

Cheers

There's some nifty ones there. I don't think you'll ruin much by messing around with them, but if you're wanting info, https://www.bladeforums.com/ might be a good source.
Thanks for that, I'll give them a go.
I am a bit surprised I can't find a UK based one. But I imagine there will be UK guys on there.

Out of interest, there are a couple there that I dismissed as plastic, but there is a fifty fifty chance they might be horn.

I have also discovered that you can sell penknives on Etsy.

Half of those are probably considered an offensive weapon in the UK lol.
