No mention of St. Paddy's day?

Extreme sharpness is ephemeral!
St Patrick was actually a Welshman.

Patrick, or Padrig in Welsh, was born around 387 AD and was known as Maewyn (Welsh for devoted friend) Succat (a Pagan term for warlike). ... "Academics have looked at the idea that St Patrick was born in Wales.

I think it's probably because we can't visit any pubs etc as yet. God save us when they do re-open.

Second one in a row the pubs have been shut in Ireland :(
Absolutely. It's been more or less cancelled in Ireland yet again, in every regard including pubs. I did hear somewhere, the other day, that the tradition of St. Patrick's Day parades originated in the United States.
