Newb checking in from the top left corner of Washington State! Since we can almost see Canada from our home, maybe I could be an Honorary Canadian in this forum...?

Anyway, I just started DE shaving a few years ago. I'd been buzzing my head all my life since childhood, and twenty years in metal fabrication. Then the wife bought me a tub of shave cream out of nowhere about three years ago and it quickly turned into a hobby. I keep my head shaved. My beard has been almost full grey since my early thirties and I'm now in my early forties.

I use Muhle Vivo R89 razors with feather blades. I use Muhle classic Silvertip fibre brushes. I use Geo F. Trumpers and Proraso shave creams and aftershaves.

I enjoy fragrances. I got on a blind-buying kick about two years ago and it's actually really embarrassing how many I bought, and how few actually spoke to me. My current favorites are Hermes Bel Ami Vetiver, Serge Lutens Chergui, Guerlain Idéal Extreme, Lorenzo Villoresi Atman Xaman, Acqua di Parma Colonia, Dior Eau Sauvage, and Lorenzo Villoresi Yerbamate.

When I was in my mid-twenties I pulled my 401k and spent three months in Rome.

I put 30k miles on a Suzuki SV1000S that I no longer have.

I've always loved small import cars. The two that I had properly restored and the ones I miss the most were a 1970 Fiat 124 Sport Spider and a 1974 Celica GT coupe. I drive a 2013 Scion FRS now.

At various times in my life I worked weekend jobs for fun, in addition to manufacturing.

Other interests include pocket knives, axes, antiques, restorations, antique firearms and rimfire, grilling, cooking, and reading.

Thanks for having me.

Welcome to ATG. Nice intro 👍🏻😎
Hey thanks guys!

I appreciate it.

Really enjoying the place so far. I'll try not to bring the neighborhood down.

Also just started making espresso and milk drinks about two months ago and still learning. Newb lattes. Curious to hear what the international community is doing these days. My shallow knowledge right now is from just a few YouTube channels. James Hoffmann has been really helpful.
