Minwax Antique Oil Finish on this one. I let it soak in the stuff over night at first, then another coat every couple of days until it looked right.

There were so many nice wooden handle brushes made in the states, don't think we really did them over here? Just moulded plastic for the cheap stuff and turned catalin for the good stuff šŸ˜©

I'm not sure I like my process,... the best so far is to paint over the letters with Testors enamel paint and sand off with 800 grit sandpaper and then shine it. If the letters are shallow they'll disappear.

youā€™ve done a great job for sure.
it actually looks brand new.
apparently you can get gold leaf paper that you rub in, i seen a short vid on youtube
only thing is itā€™s probably a lot more expensive
