New Bike

I just thought I'd post this to show off my new bike which isn't here yet but I'm champing at the bit especially since I have to run to keep up with my daughter when she's out on hers!

It's a Foffa Dandy:

Going to swap the mudguards out for some sexy French Gilles Berthoud stainless numbers, change the saddle for a brown Brooks B17 Imperial and am toying with the idea of replacing the handlebars with laminated wooden ones. Add in a plain aluminium water bottle cage and a L'Eroica bottle, ally pump mounted behind the seat tube and a matching Brooks saddle bag and leather mudflap for the front wheel and I'll be good to go.

So then, what steeds do folks round here have and use? Pictures please! :D

A 2012 Look 695 running DA Di2 and some super light weight stuff. A very different beast

My CX & do it all bike:

It has changed a little since that pic, TRP HY/DR brakes, a seatpost that matches the bars/stem, nicer tyres and Speedplay pedals to match my other two...
My All season bike:

My summer/nice weather bike:

I have a MTB too, but I don't have a pic to hand. It's a Cotic Soul hardtail running a Rockshox Revelation DA U-Turn, Shimano XT/XTR, (old fashioned 27speed though!) and KCNC finishing kit. It needs a bit of love as I very rarely use it!

Lovely bikes chaps, put mine (which incidentally hasn't arrived yet and I'm getting somewhat peeved) to shame...

Nice bikes Gents.
I have been using mine very little last few years but hoping to get back on them more.
I will grab pics at some point, but they are a melange of parts.

I spent some time working out my MTB.
I wanted to get one that really really fit me.
Tried a few over the years, but long body slightly shorter limbs makes me a bit less of a standard fit.
Worked out the angles and top tube lengths that i wanted, found a Ragley Marley frame and built around that,
all with second hand parts. It fits lush. Really pleased with it, but then moved house and it has hardly been used.

My other bike is a general all purpose cycle.
I am using it as a test bed to work out my next one.
what gears do i want, what frame size, saddle etc
I don't think this one has cost me more than £20 so far. (Oh, if you ignore the tyres)
I want it to look like something that noone will pinch (that is definitely successful).
Doesn't matter if it gets damaged when locked up, can use in the rain, bullet proof tyres etc
It is for riding in and out of town, locked up, and for short road or track type rides, so it needs to go up and down kerbs.
It isn't what you call pretty but is a work in progress.

@Grarea sound great, mate! My Brother bought himself a 17 year-old Specialised Stumpjumper FSR frame and has just finished building it up with some second hand parts and some new. Did a bang up job and the finished article is unlike anything you could buy new and certainly not at that price (the frame was £40 yet looks almost new). I quite fancy having a go at something like that myself and am intrigued by a 2x10 drivetrain on a hardtail MTB with 27.5 wheels.
