Long or Short?

For me the iKon bulldog ii is perfect, it's just the right size (85mm x 13mm) and the knurling is grippy without feeling sharp. I also have the 80mm one which comes a close second. They get far and away the most use of any of my handles.

I'm here too. But I do like a longer handle sometimes, but not too keen on anything shorter than 85mm.

I'd rather go shorter than longer. I hold my razor with thumb and two fingers, I don't know what to do with too much handle.

I've got a slim, 10mm, longer (110mm? have to check) Stainless handle on my General and it works really well. The miniscule handle on the Asylum Evolution, was about the smallest I could manage...

If a handle is chubby, not too light and grippy, I'm fine with a shorter handle, but my preference is a handle between 9 and 10 cms, thick, knurly, with some depressions in at least three places, if that can be had.

It has a lot to do with my shaving technique.

My current favourites are:
- ixGrip
- the knurled handle with small depressed rings that came with my Rocnel SE-P OC (better knurling than the safety bar version)
