Recently I used this one as a pre shave. It was impossible for the Permasharp loaded in the R41 to catch my skin anywhere during the shave, I also used a shave product with almost non existent slickness & cushion. I won't mention any names, because this was an expensive one.
The butter though, helped a lot.
Application: On damp well-washed face, apply a small amount of Shea Butter, it is slowly absorbed by the skin (takes 3-4 hours to fully disappear), but makes it so soft, that helps with this extra layer that provides. It is TOTALLY unscented too and does not cause any break-outs, at least on my face.
As a balm, you must be very careful, don't apply much and go out, you will shine more than a shining star.
An even smaller amount is needed, does not burn at all and helps with hydration. Another good choice is to put it on and go to sleep, the next day you will feel the difference, your wife will think that you are someone else, much younger, please explain and calm her down.
Those with oily skin, don't even think of using this kind of product. You will regret it.
@celestino somewhere mentioned about the benefits of the raw Shea Butter, this one is not totally raw, but works wonders.
