Okay, so even though I am a fully grown adult, I have decided that I (perhaps) would like learn to do this.

I have zero idea where to start.

Any body here do this. Any tips on beginner boards...?

Nice one.
No advice from me, I have tried all sorts of things but never skateboarding.
Although, I would definitely be wearing knee pads, elbow pads and gloves...... oh, and wrist supports as well probably.
Coming off them things is gonna hurt I reckon otherwise.

Unless you're adept at bouncing on the ground at 15 mph on concrete, perhaps you should just look from afar, and be content with body parts and bones in one piece. :blackeye:

Hope you have good health insurance. Is your goal to goal to go around the block and come back alive or do Ollies, Backflips, ramps. etc.?

Talk to an expert - typical 15 year old male. We have indoor and outdoor skateboard "parks". Skateboard stores common.
I had a friends kids try to teach me. Quickly returned to something safer like riding a bike in heavy traffic.

Yeah, find a board with training wheels.

Good plan.
Outriggers.
Motorbike leathers.
I crashed my MTB a couple of years ago, boy, hitting the ground in your forties is a very different thing than hitting the ground in your twenties.

Hitting the ground in your forties could very well lead to you being put in the ground.

Looking forward to pictures of your new board and video of first ride.
Many variables in board selection - rivals shaving.

When you are done with that I suggest juggling chainsaws. Good luck. I was good at it when I was 15...Them days have gone.
