Well, it's comfortable for us. But just as a means of comparison, my childhood friend has a house that is 15,500 sq. ft. on 5 acres. My house is on a 50 ft. x 100 ft. lot, or 5,000 sq. ft. So his 5 acre lot is 217,800 sq. ft. It's all relative I guess. Our attic is not finished and I would like to finish that off to give us 4 floors of living area. Basically the living area is on the first floor (living room, dining room, kitchen, sun porch/breakfast nook and 1/2 bath). The second floor is 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. The basement is the man/woman cave (depends on who's using it at the time) containing an area for drums and bass, an elliptical machine, a universal weight machine and a living area with sound system, large screen TV and albums for listening pleasure, laundry, 1/2 bath and the rest is boiler room and storage and garage for one car. I'd put one large open room up in the attic and use it as a home office/study. I think that would get us up to about 3,250 sq. ft. It might be a bit much for three of us but I think it will help immensely when it comes time to sell. Gee, I went WAAAAAAYYY off topic.
