As many of you probably know I'm the one standing behind Highlander brushes. I'm making custom brushes for more than two years now. Started with some large custom built lathe which was horrible but showed me that I can make something nice. It's now two years since I bought better lathe and equipped with everything necessary to make some serious handles. I'm still considering this as a hobby as I'm electrical engineer full time. Nevertheless I'm giving my best and pay lot of attention to every piece I make. Over the time as I got more and more orders improved finishing and build quality.
I'm making handles from wide range of materials as you can see on
@Boycie83 photos. Kirinte and polyester resin materials are prefabricated and those are materials Simpson and some other artisans are using. Beside them I'm making brushes from wide range of wood and from custom poured epoxy resin. Pretty much anything you can see on my Instagram page or YouTube channel can be made again and that was the idea from very beginning.
For the knots I offer wide range of synthetic knots, some boar knots and SHD Manchurian two band badger. I'm also doing handles only or using knot supplied by customer. Also if the time is not an issue I can also order specific knot by request.
