Can anyone give me an idea of shipping time for orders from G&C to the UK? I ordered some essentials last Thursday and I'm starting to get a smidgen worried that the Royal Mail has lost it ... I don't want to email them just yet as I may just be being paranoid.

Sometimes it's been a couple of days and other times nearly a fortnight. I'd hang tight.

Around two weeks is not unusual given it's coming from Spain. There may well be more screening of packages coming into the country going on given the current terrorism alert level and this can cause a backlog.

I have ordered from them a couple of times..on both occasions it was over the two week mark if I remember rightly.

This has been the case with most things from Spain in my experience, no idea why. Usually around two weeks for me too.

Btw, you might look into yourshaving.es. Has lots of the same stuff plus other stuff, and I think they're a tad cheaper than G&C. Discount code available there too. But it won't reach you any faster obviously...

The fact that the shipping is so slow has put me off using G&C. The Maseto shaving brush guy is having brushes delivered in under 10 days from China, I can't understand how something takes 2 weeks from Spain.

The faster from China thing may well to be with volume. There's no question that China exports many, many times more goods to the UK than Spain and as such there maybe more regular shipments as the cargo space on ships and planes fill up quicker? Or maybe it's just the Chinese infrastructure is more geared to exporting goods as it's a much more significant contributor to it's economy?

I don't really mind at all how long it takes (within reason) as long st does eventually arrive. I was only not sure of the timescale.

I'm Spanish and living in Madrid. Our postal service is very safe but is not very fast.

Is a company that depends on the Spanish State and has not been sufficiently streamlined with the large volume of orders that come from online purchases.

More or less one shipment is usually late:
Spain-Spain: 3 or 4 days.
England-Spain: 7 days.
USA-Spain: 10 days.
China-Spain: 25 days

What I have to say in its favor is that in six years I have never lost a package, some have arrived quite late but have arrived correctly

I hope I have not come across as worried about the Spanish PO! My concerns are with our Royal Mail (sorry if any members are employees) ...
