Fredricssons Razors.

Has anybody got experience or knowledge of;

It says in the sales blurb that their Fredricssons razors “are made for me by the same people who make the Merkur & Edwin Jagger razors”.
Now I thought that Merkur razors were made in their own factory in Germany and likewise EJ razors were made in Sheffield in their own facility. Am I being naive?

I got mine 2016 or 2017. The handle is nice and hefty, the head is a standard clone. Plating not quite as good as EJ and after screwing the handle a couple of times, it started abrading.
I'd suggest getting the handle, not the whole razor, if you can.

Was just wondering about the claim that they are made in the same factory? Could it be that Fredricssons, Merkur and EJ’s are actually all made in the same factory but to slightly different specifications. Perhaps a Chinese factory?

Muehle and Edwin Jagger share tooling for the heads and I'm sure I remember reading that tooling is in Germany. However, the head shown in the pictures looks a lot like a Merkur clone.
