As we are on summer break maybe we can have our day in what we think of the season so far, I'm really enjoying it ,

Great to see Ferrari back and fighting for wins with red bull not too far off the pace. Bottas has really impressed me so far and has done enough to earn a contract extension in my opinion, Hamilton was epic at the British GP but errors are creeping into his driving,

Love the fact the gloves are off with Dan and max, as they are both class drivers!

What do you think guys!?

Overall it's turning out to be a great season.

I do find it frustrating that Ferrari protect SV so much. It makes it almost harder for us to see a true SV/LH battle!

Looking forward to Spa, I just can't see anyone stopping Lewis esp with a car that suits the track.

What's really surprised me this season is how Williams have fallen off the pace quite significantly compared to the gains they made over the last couple of seasons. I hear that Stroll may be on his way to Force India and believe that may prove to be the best decision for the team overall as they need to get a much more aggressive driver in. I would be interesting to see how a driver of the calibre of Alonso would fare in a Williams for example.

Driver of the season so far for me has been Alonso - he's driving the McLaren to the max every race and his radio messages are as entertaining as ever.

Whilst it's great to see Ferrari being more competitive, I still want Mercedes to win every race.

Yep it's sad to see Williams dropping off, agree they need new blood for next season. I do love Alonso and he's driving the wheels off that Honda lol

That new kid Londo Norris looks a good prospect young British talent,

And yes @Dipesh i can't see anyone stopping Hamilton at spa, maybe Bottas may have an outside chance?

I'd say so if LH has a difficult Friday there is a chance, bottas could be on pole. Don't think he will match him on race pace. I'm hoping Lewis will be in a league of his own like he was at silverstone.

I think your right but something pretty extraordinary would have to happen for Mercedes not to win at that track. It's a pure power track. No complaints here!
