How difficult is it to get a refund through Etsy? I bought an item that I'm not very happy with, low quality, and the seller is very poor at returning messages.. I'm about to give up and ask for a refund?
Would it be easier to ask PayPal?

I'd say so. Communicate with the seller through Paypal. Believe me Paypal always come down on the side of the buyer

Yeah..Go Via PayPal..There are a Lot of Dubious Sellers on Etsy..Some Good Ones as Well..

It's a shame you have had to resort to this action Lee, but if said vendor refuses to reply to your communications you are left with no other option.
