"I took the first jab of AZ and straight away had severe reactions which lasted ten days. I recovered eventually and was told it would be twelve weeks before the second one. About six weeks later I was offered and took the second AZ shot, but with a little more knowledge of the dangers. Needless to say the reactions were disastrous, my hands and feet were either frozen, numb or burning, and pretty much useless for two weeks, I feared I would never play again, (I suffer with peripheral neuropathy and should never have gone near the needle.) But the propaganda said the vaccine was safe for everyone."

I took the first jab of Pfizer and straight away had a sore arm which lasted a few hours. I went about my day and was told it would be a few months before the second one. About six months later I was offered and took the second Pfizer shot, but with a little more knowledge of where to park. Needless to say the reactions were mild. I feared that vaccine hesitancy here would prove troublesome and I was concerned at the lack of support for other parts of the world at a point when I was already booking a third dose (Moderna, it turned out). But the scientific consensus was that the vaccine was an appropriate means of protecting myself, my community and wider society.

Quite frankly, this topic, which has views held equally strongly from all involved, is Grade One material for a nasty slanging match. It would make sense if the Moderators were to shut it down, before it runs away with itself.
You've nothing to fear but fear itself! :)

The only fear I have is that the Christmas celebrations today may be such that my shaving hand may shake a little tomorrow morning, and it'll be "claret" at breakfast time. If I need to greet my Boxing Day guests in Christmassy mode, I'd prefer to have the full Santa white beard rig out, rather than cotton wool tufts tinged with red.

Merry Christmas, one and all.

That is bullshit! Clapton is neither a bigot nor ignorant, obviously not racist, and just because you don't agree with something that doesn't make it a conspiracy.
Liberals are really pissing me off.
He’s a second-rate guitarist whichever way you look at it.
