Does sunscreen figure in your routine?

Constantly being told to apply sunscreen to my face - even at my ripe old age. With the passage of time I have acquired many sun related blemishes / age spots - call them what you will. My question really is if your’e a post shaving product user, where does the sunscreen fit into that regime of at all?

Yes, not as often as I was told to use it (every day) but I try and remember to apply it most days if I’m spending any time outside as it clams my rosacea. I use factor 50.

I burn in daylight, so if I'm planning to be out in the sun it's hat with a brim and factor 50.

I don't use any post-shave products. Or pre-shave for that matter.

On the days when my face feels like it needs a little help after shaving, I use balm - then if going out, I apply sunscreen. I also wear a hat.

I’m pretty lucky, I just go brown - I wear a hat and factor 50 when going outside to help prevent exposure, however, I’ve spent many years driving cars that don’t have UV protection in the window glass and didn’t use sunscreen. Not surprisingly, I seem to have the majority of sun related damage on the side of my face that faced the glass.
These days, we are more aware of the dangers of sun exposure. I guess, getting the mix right when using post shave products that help with the skin and also applying factor 50 when going out is key to skin protection.

haven't used sunscreen since we were a kid... the Nivea Men Protective Lotion given to us the other day has spf 15 sunscreen...
Sounds like they may be adding sunscreen to other products.
I spotted that Mrs Sideburns’ facial moisturiser has an spf built in.

Been using this for a while. i pulled 12 bottles off the shelf in Sainsbury's reduced to 60p each because I recognised the label and thought the Mrs would use it. She doesn't. So I have been. It's fine post-shave but I put it on daily in the mornings.
