Review De Vergulde Hand shaving soap - exotic, yet traditional (and cheap!)

Drive across the border to DM, -the DrogerieMarkt-, and buy a tub of Speick wich is only €8. It is worth it even though 'Vergulde Hand' is only €3...

Even better, AFAIK discontinued now, but the Wilkinson Sword shave stick (not the tub!) was an excellent soap. I should still be good for the next few years.

Yes, when Fine Accoutrements discontinued their hard soaps they indicated that the De Vergulde Hand Netherlands factory going kaput was the deciding factor. Fortunately I have six pucks of Snake Bite in reserve
