Cleanser or Soap?

wow what are you planning for? You know something we don't?
The Neutrogena brand have been taken over by Johnson & Johnson. They have a habit of ceasing production so I purchased a whole lot....I'm not a hoarder!

The cleansing bar has been in production since the seventies. I hope it continues but you never know especially as most companies are steering towards liquid cleansers these days

I haven't tried the Fitjar 'stubble softener' but I have used the Havn shaving cream and really rate it.
I'm not 100% on the scent but performance wise it's the best cream I've tried so far.

Maybe go for for the stubble softener and a sample pack of of the creams?

If you subscribe to their news letter you get a free travel size soap, just have to pay for postage.

The Hydrating Cleanser by CeraVe is one the best I've tried Jamie. It's a simple & effective cleanser, which is all I look for in a face wash.
I’ve been using this for several months and it’s great. My first (massive!) bottle was imported and, needing a replacement, I was surprised to see Boots now stock it:

It looks as though it’s been slightly reformulated for our market. Here are the ingredients: Aqua/Water, Glycerin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Phenoxyethanol, Stearyl Alcohol, Cetyl Alcohol, Peg-40 Stearate, Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Glyceryl Stearate, Polysorbate 20, Ethylhexylglycerin, Potassium Phosphate, Disodium Edta, Dipotassium Phosphate, Sodium Lauroyl Lactylate, Ceramide NP, Ceramide AP, Phytosphingosine, Cholesterol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Xanthan Gum, Carbomer, Tocopherol, Ceramide EOP. It looks as though they’ve removed the parabens...

Let me tell you this: I bought the Cerave moisturise cream for dry skin. 2 days after shave, when the stubble grow back, the area around the mouth and chin gets really flaky and dry.

I have used many products, from Bepanthol to more expensive products. Nothing worked and my face was oily all day.

The Cerave cream is very thick but when applied on the face it is like you didn't put anything. The hydration is top class and lasts 24 hours without re-applying.

I will definitely try the face wash gents. So high quality products. They are hidden gems for me.

I don't use soap or scrub on my face...just plain water. Soap or facial scrub removes all the natural oils and normal flora on the skin that protect you. My skin has never looked or felt better.

I have combination skin and can suffer both dry patches as well as oily skin. I thus need cleansing without stripping.

For the morning shower: Michelle’s Mystic Water Black Goat facial bar with activated charcoal (and presumably goat milk) is superb and probably the least drying, while still cleansing, bar of soap I’ve ever used.

Before bed, I wash with Nip+Fab Glycolic Fix Cleanser, formulated with olive oil.

(Especially in winter, dryness is taken care of by La Roche Posay Kerium DS cream, meant for light Seborrheic Dermatitis. Works wonders for my skin, though I don’t think I actually suffer from SD.)

I have been using Darron's (Wickham 1912) Glycerin based face soap.. found it excellent to be honest..doesn't dry my skin like others.
