Shows the depth of anger finding the bodies of children buried in unmarked graves has generated. It has lit off a long smouldering powered keg of grievances. Unfortunately the tearing down of symbols associated with long standing grievances will not change history and at best is a temporary feel good move. There has been at least 6 RC churches burnt to the ground on various Indian Reserves, RC churches vandalised in several cities and statues of prominent Canadians associated with Indian Residential Schools debacle torn down.

I can at least understand the RC churches on the reservations and statues of prominent Canadians associated with Indian Residential Schools being targeted.
