  1. Folks..

Can anyone tell me which is the best Floid blue inspired aftershave currently available?

    I am looking at :

    1.Epsilon Blue Mediterranean
    2. Razorock Blue Barbershop
    3. Furbo Vintage Blu
    4. ....?....

Any others I should be looking at ? I have tried the original and of course Aqua Velva (which is in a similar vein)

Thoughts, comments, recommendations ect much appreciated!!

Juan Manuel (sorry dont know his username on ATG) had good things to say about Epsilon, I'll copy & paste here...

I tried it and wasnt a fan but have never used Floid Blue so cannot say whether it's the exact copy some claim it to be... Just smells like naff hair gel to me, this stuff:

YMMV  I'd maybe look into that Furbo stuff.

  3. Thanks, James! Haha wow if it smells like cheap hair gel it's definitely not a good "Homage" to the original Floid Blue!!

That's just my opinion! I think Rob @Blackmass likes it, as does JM so perhaps it's just not my bag... There is a note in it which makes me feel nauseous

    Hi Chris,

I've never tried the original Floid Blue but I've read a number of people have compared the two and say Epsilon Blue Mediterranean is a close match.

I have Epsilon Blue Mediterranean and really like the scent and it has a nice face feel too.
It's bright with an Italian cologne vide. It's not 'in your face' but the scent does last a few hours.

You can pick it up cheap too...

Or Agent Shave do stock it but it's currently sold out.

    It's good stuff.

  6. Brilliant! Thanks Rob!

Before it went on the market, @Guille brought a sample of Epsilon to a meal of members of a Spanish forum. Everyone knew Floid Blue, some even had used it that day but more than half did not hit a blind tasting

It was a blind tasting, in one bottle was the Floid Blue, in another the Epsilon. Of the fifteen people who dared to do the test, only the noses of one hit the original.

Guess I'm just not a Floid Blue kinda guy huh :giggle:

The Epsilon is certainly good value, I'll give it that!

The Razorock is closer to the Floid for me.
