Beer Consumption Down

Never was a fan of IPAs , as I much preferred darker, heartier brews such as stout and Oktoberfest. My beer consumption slowed considerably long before the pandemic, only to be replaced with red wine. When the pandemic hit, Gayle had just received a cancer diagnosis so we pretty much stopped drinking alcohol altogether. Now when I do have a drink when out, it’s only one and I’m very particular. If they don’t serve what I like I stick with water or coffee.

Depends which crowd of young'n you hang with. Was at a wedding of late 20 year olds, and would have hated to see the liquor tab.
Excess was relative. Kids were mixing liquors that would have had me worshipping the porcelain god Ralph

My beer consumption has gone down in proportion to prices going up. Going to the pub is now just too expensive and even the cost of buying beer to drink at home is reaching the point where I'd rather spend the money on something else.
