Yea, we have our own crop of idiots heavily influenced by what is happening south of the border. At a time when businesses are having trouble getting on time deliveries they chose to impede even further the flow of goods in Canada by running convoys across Canada from the west and east to converge on Ottawa. The main bitch was that truckers now have to be fully vaccinated crossing the border, a requirement both the US and Canada now have. Only 10% of truckers are not vaccinated and refuse to do so. I don't feel sorry at all for them. They made a choice and now they have to pay the consequences. There have been numerous instances across Canada that they have treated the press sent to interview them in a hostile and threatening manner. There has also been threats of extreme violence posted on social media directed at various persons, Trudeau among them. In this day and age I don't blame them for moving the PM and his family to a secure undisclosed location. Particularly so after the Jan 6 violence of people "taking a stand" at the US Capital during an insurrection.Looks like a bunch of Canadians are taking a stand. Trudeau has gone into hiding in a secret location.
