The answer is that we arguably are. I had to almost laugh after reading this editorial in the local paper. I say almost because, damn it all anyway, this is nuts and not funny at all.

In my OP I meant we to indicate Canada/Canadians and from that standpoint there is enough weirdness/wackiness for sure. Mind you looking around the globe, we are not the only ones suffering from the same trend.
