Advice on cheap light handles.

Ok so having been the lucky PIFEE of a lovely lil ER 1912 i've been looking into all things 1912 mod related. So have myself a lil shim and will be trying the alternative cut down blunted injector shim as well. But i'm now also after some where to buy a couple nice cheap light-lightish handles that I can bung a M5 grub screw on and throw on the 1912. Now not fussy but would like grip and no shorter than 85mm. Any advice gents is welcome. Also what length grub screw would you guy say?

If you want a light handle. The Lord L6 3piece has a long aluminium handle and is <£10 from eBay.
M5 grub screws 8-10 mm should be suitable.

Thanks Arthur, how does the aluminum handle being so light effect the shave? I want to see if there is a sweet spot for balance weight and length?

No need to cut down an injector blade for shim use. Two blunt injector blades or one Twin blade will do the trick.
My grub screws are 8mm. Make sure to have the hexagonal hole facing the head, otherwise the grub screw might get permanently stuck in the handle.
I use a 96mm stainless steel handle with my 1912. Currently unavailable though. I used it once (because I could) and it has stayed on the 1912 head ever since. It just works. For me. YMMV and all that.

There are 1912 models with light aluminium handles. In my experience the lighter handle makes little difference.
I've also used some heavier SS handles which can improve the shave. But as Andreas said YMMV
