A very nice smooth shave from the Pal Golden Injecto-matic and Proline blade.
I was kindly gifted a couple of Wickham's samples from Mem aka @Mr Bigmem. Thank you

Love the 1912 Buddha Wood scent, its earthy, woody, musty and with a hint of rose and Oud. It's definitely high on my wish list. I'm not keen on highly scented synthetic fragrance but found the Buddha Wood mild and natural with the same great performance you'd expect from the 1912 range.

Enjoy your weekend. Completed the chores yesterday so it's a chill weekend for me lazing and grazing with a box set.

Great shave, I think that the ikon is a bit much for daily use for me though. Might keep the soap and splash in use now until they're both finished.

Prep: Hot towel
Pre shave: Prep
Razor: Barbaros TR-1
Blade: Astra S/P
Brush: 'The Duke' (Duke 3 Best)
Soap: Grooming Dept: Mallard
Post: Cold water rinse / Witch Hazel / Tallow + Steel: Dark Aftershave

Well, Mallard lived up to the hype, and provided the base for an outstanding shave with the TR-1, a razor that I find to be on the aggressive side of the tracks... BBS, and feeling fine.

Preshave: Hot water rinse + bloom water
Razor: British Gillette Flat Bottomed Tech
Blade: Gillette Nacet (1)
Brush: New Forest Badger
Shave Soap: MWF
Aftershave Balm: Body Shop Maca Root balacing face protector
Aftershave: Woodspice

Good old MWF, fine soap, left my skin feeling at least one size too small, which I know soon wears off. In the meantime I'm BBS and momentarily almost wrinkle free!

Have a good weekend.

Regards,
Chris

Second shave with the Paradigm SS. Amped up on both smoothness and efficiency from yesterday’s less fortunate experience, but I still have some zeroing in to do. Again comparing to Charcoal, my second most recent acquisition, which was straight off the bat smooth. No scientific approach vis-a-vis yesterday, as the only constant was the razor itself. I just may do a side by side Paradigm vs Charcoal, ceteris paribus.

Thäter Fünf, Paradigm 17-4, Nacet, Extro O’Selvaggio soap and AS, plus a drop of Vetiver essential oil in the palm of my hand before adding the aftershave.
