Brown leather, some scratches, a burst in the seam over the zipper. Inside is lined with brown velvet with a logo pressed in.
In this velvet 7 NOS razors, some still in their acidfree paper, with days of the week, with some swirly stuff left and right, in gold on their backs. Also, the faces of the blades have been etched in gold, with a modern looking pattern.
Scales are plastic, but with logo in relief which gives the set an added feel of luxury, as if it weren't good enough.
Tried the Thrursday razor yesterday, as it was thursday. No honing, no CrOx, just leather. Factory bevel was still good enouh for a near-BBS shave, but for it to be comfortable it does need some more sharpness. I'm more than happy to give these razors just that.
