Coconut shave bowl

Seems an odd question but anyone ever used/seen a coconut half (cut either way) used as a shave bowl?
I was perusing some pottery shave bowls a second ago and thought one of them looked like a coconut and then thought a coconut half would actually work well, light, waterproof, textured inside and pretty damn safe too.You could even attach a knob handle to them as well.

I used one I bought on holidays for quite a while until SWMBO dropped and cracked it. Worked really well.

Cheap to replace too if they do crack.Pleased someone has used one.

I tried a few, but really could do with being bigger. All the ones I've used have been from small coconuts.

Too smooth and harder to acheive a nice edge.Not all they are cracked up to be.

I cracked my TSR bowl when it slipped out of my hand into the sink so bought a coconut to use the shell for exactly this. No used yet as the TSR bowl is still usable but I'm sure it'll do the job.
