Just arrived, acquired from a very Accommodating Fellow Shaver. Apart from a couple of real time wasters,
everyone I have dealt with in this and other Shaving Forums have been a pleasure to deal with.

A new companion to my B3 Mongoose- the Shiney One.
Sharp Scary - Feather Pro Supers, and a Stirling Shaving Soap which must be better than the sample I tried,
I had not twigged it was a toilet soap:happy:.

  5. I ordered this on 20th July whilst in Majorca on holiday. I was still on holiday when it was 1st delivered on the 26th. Today to my sheer delight it was re-delivered. Shame I'd already shaved.

New meets old, ironically the older razor has the more sophisticated design. Gillette RFB and FaTip Grande.

Bagged from fleabay: FX Performer from the early 90's My absolute favourite twin cartridge razor.

Smooth, comfortable and efficient as the blade flexes to the face contours. The FX Alpha Diamond blades are far superior to the standard FX Performer's.

    Anyone remember the TV ad?

It was soon after this release cartridge razors became not only expensive but also ridiculous. Just think we're now up to 12 blade cartridge razors. Can you imagine shaving with this?

I received an acrylic brush/razor stand made by Jeff (wyzeOne), a fellow shaver at DFS.

A local find from today. Bur (1910) is a trade mark of C Fredrich Ern. It is half hollow and the size is 21mm or 13/16 inch. A light cleaning should be good enough but it is badly in need of a honing from bevel reset up. Apparently it is magnetic steel from the etching on the blade.
