This soap leaves my skin feeling oily and clogged and I don't like the scent. Bye bye MW.
Sensitive Skin is the only Mystic Water soap I truly get on with. My skin errs on the dry side so the more moisturising soaps work well for me during this time of year. I’m sorry it hasn’t worked out for you but I’m glad you arranged our purchase earlier this year!

I don't often turn to the version 2.0 Shake Sharp, prefering as I do to double load the version 1.0, but even without that ability the 2.0 is a great performer, fine two pass face and head shave with a mid 70s Platinum Plus.

My skin is very oily(esp. on my cheeks and forehead) so that'd explain the difference. Other than this issue, it's a great soap, I can see why so many people like it and I enjoy using it too. Which is why I must have tried ~15 different scents and this unscented one to see if there's one that clicks with me. However, either I didn't like the scent, or the scent didn't like me, or it left my skin feeling clammy - I guess it's not be to. I'm pleased it worked for one of us!

Great easy two pass shave using the D plate which is equal to the Charcoal Goods level 2 and Timeless .95 head. Maybe better. Smooth as silk and the grip is fantastic.

Thanks for the report, Jerry. Yanked me a(nother) notch towards pulling the trigger on one.

Pre Shave: Hot Shower + L'Oreal Birch Sap Face Wash and Proraso White
Razor: Ever Ready 1912
Blade: GEM Stainless PTFE (#2) with shim
Brush: Plisson Pure Badger
Cream: Crabtree & Evelyn Moroccan Myrrh
Post: Alum Block, Cold water and Thayers Lavender Witch Hazel
AS: Crabtree & Evelyn Moroccan Myrrh
Cologne: Crabtree & Evelyn Moroccan Myrrh

I have not used a 1912 razor for a few months and today's shave was a bit of a mixed bag. The shave felt quite rough, a lot of tugging and it took 3 passes, however post shave I was feeling very smooth and no irritation. Maybe the blade needs more use? I have already popped in into my 1924 for tomorrow's shave to compare.
